At Modao, we believe in giving back to the community; join us in supporting those in need by participating in our donation program.

If there are any items we cannot take off your hands in the buy out process, and you do not want those items back, we would be thrilled to pass them along to one of the three organizations listed below. These donations are used to help those less fortunate have quality items within their means.

Dress for Success of Oregon

Dress for Success Oregon is a nonprofit organization that has been helping low-income women successfully transition back into the workforce by providing professional attire, a network of support and a career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.

Northwest Children's Outreach

Northwest Children's Outreach is a faith-based, non-profit organization dedicated to helping families in the Portland and Vancouver area and surrounding communities. The organization fills the need of these families by providing clothing, bedding, school supplies, daily toiletries, infant care products, diapers, formula and many more necessities that parents need for their children. They outfit newborns to young mothers and fathers and every age in between.

The Giving Closet

The Giving Closet is meeting new needs of the community through child, youth, and adult services. The services provided are primarily for homeless, low income families, temporarily financially affected persons, domestic violence, or fire loss. Services are based on financial need. Their adjacent program, Giving Hope, will enhance the lives of many Clark County residents that have a great need to learn how to read and write. This program will include a child after-school tutoring program, a teen and adult G.E.D. program, adult basic education program, and a mentoring program that includes basic life skills classes.
